Throughout the Torah and Prophets, God has proclaimed the coming of the Messiah. This presentation offers in table form, God's promises and fulfillment of His promises as provided in His Word.
Birth of the Messiah

time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman under the law,
to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption
of sons. Galatians 4:4 - 5

roots: And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the
spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the
spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him
of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not
judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of
his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with
equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the
rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the
wicked, and righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and
faithfulness the girdle of his reins. Isaiah 11:1 - 5

he come forth unto me that is to be the ruler in Israel; whose goings

Now, when Jesus was born in
Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold there came wise
men from the east to Jerusalem. Matthew 2:1
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; because he was of the house and lineage of David: To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son...Luke 2:4 - 7 |

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria. And all went to be taxed, everyone into his own city. Now the birth of Jesus Christ
was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph
before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy
Spirit. Matthew 1:18
And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her and said Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou has found favor with God. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David: And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.
